Booms in the Night - What's up in the Park?
Myself and several friends and neighbors of mine have heard extremely loud deep booms in the night near the 13/1200 blocks of Lakepointe/Maryland/Wayburn. Does anyone have any idea what these could be caused by? These booms have occurred regularly every night at around 3am or so for the past week - they wake us all up and set off dozens of car alarms - one time we heard screaming.
I doubt the apocalypse has befell the Park, but I am very curious to receive some further info on this. The cops have stopped taking our calls seriously by now and we just want some answers! The booms are deep and LOUD - I don't think they are gunshots - they sound like an artillery range (and I say that from experience)!
I am curious if this has anything to do with the recent string of Black Ops that have been popping around in the Pointes?

Last night, around 9:00pm,
Last night, around 9:00pm, there were extremely loud semi-automatic gun firing several loud rounds. This is in the region of Alter and Korte. It was very frightening as I live on Barrington with my yard facing Detroit. I have heard gun shots coming from Detroit almost every evening or early morning, but this was ridiculously loud and too close for comfort. Did anyone else in the area hear this? How can we be sure that we are going to be protected from Detroit's crime, as we love our home.
